Walk My Edge houses so many of my DIY Projects. That’s where this all started. DIY projects were really a way for me to revive the creative undertow in my personality. It was a way to express what I value in life and how I relate to it. It starts with an anthropological appreciation for a piece; the life in it once and what still could be. That creative possibility takes shape, and through the hands-on work I go through a journey with it, ultimately leaving a tangible transformation that spark pride in me (even when they’re epic fails) and a not so tangible transformation in me, thanks to each project. Anything can spark this process for me. My projects span everything from furniture to gift ideas to housewarming knick-knacks. The old soul in me is partial to anything sentimental - revived, remembered or newly created - but I'm not opposed to creating from scratch or exploring new skill territories.
I’m feeling the urge again to let this part of me come out to play, so Walk My Edge is about to get a surge of expanded love beyond just DIY projects. Stay tuned for much more on:

You'll see many of my posts include mention or pictures of a handsome dude. That’s my husband, Joe. He's been my left-hand man through it all, being such a good sport with all of my crazy ideas. He's my voice of reason, my extra muscle and my partner in crime. We live just outside of downtown Cleveland and enjoy being in the heart of the city. It has treated us very well with the best of city and community, but we do travel quite a bit and love to soak up the culture of other cities. Our “edge” spans worldwide.
I can’t wait to share our exploration through new passions and voyages.
